Our Mission
Strength in Truth’s mission is to educate persons impacted by ex-LGBTQ+ ministries as well as the general public about the science, history, mental health, common myths, and Biblical aspects of the LGBTQ+ experience. SIT also provides other resources that foster healthy connection to self and affirming others.

Who We Serve
SIT serves current or former members of non-LGBTQ+ affirming churches who claim a person cannot be LGBTQ+ and Christian. SIT also serves as a resource for Christians and non-Christians looking to understand sexuality and gender from Biblical, scientific, psychological, and historical perspectives.

Who We Are
Strength in Truth is a collective of LGBTQ+ persons impacted by ex-LGBTQ+ ministries, LGBTQ+ Christians, mental health professionals, and Christian pastors and allies.

What We Do
SIT offers education, advocacy, consultation, and peer support from scientific, psychological, and biblical perspectives to reduce risk of mental health crises for LGBQT+ persons impacted by non-LGTBQ+ affirming churches.
